The room was cozy, but the toilet had serious flushing issues.

great stay with easy access to edinburgh's best attractions
During my stay, I found the room to be nice and clean, with a comfortable bed that made my nights restful, and I loved that it was just a 20-minute walk to the city center, making it super easy to explore the National Museum of Scotland and discover breathtaking views at Calton Hill.

The check-in process was smooth and quick.
Unfortunately, the heating in our room was inadequate during our stay, making it quite uncomfortable, especially since we were in Scotland, where it can get chilly. We were provided with one extra heater, but it didn't suffice for the size of the room. Furthermore, we also faced issues with the toilet. it didn't flush well, which was quite inconvenient, and the toilet seat was awkward as it slid to one side every time we sat on it.

Convenient stay with a cozy vibe
I appreciated the clean, spacious room with soft towels and comfortable beds. The keypad entry was a convenient feature as well, making our stay feel secure.
However, the communication prior to arrival was clunky, and I missed having breakfast options nearby. Also, the lack of a reception made checking in somewhat confusing.

The room itself was large and bright, making for a pleasant stay. Despite the creaking floor, it didn’t disturb us much. The additional heaters were appreciated, but we didn’t need them since the room was cozy. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed having free coffee, tea, cookies, and milk in the room. Communication with the host was prompt, and the check-in process was smooth. However, the bathroom was a bit cramped, which was not ideal. Security felt good with card access, but the noise from the thin walls made it tough to sleep at times. Overall, it had great potential, but some minor adjustments could make it even better.

Free parking, large room, convenient keypad entry
The unlocked back door is a security concern!!! Dated bathrooms could use upgrades, and the absence of a front desk was quite confusing at arrival!!! Moving furniture shouldn’t lead to angry responses from management.

The comfortable single room provided all basic amenities at a reasonable rate, perfect for attending events. Shared facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the quiet environment allowed for restful nights. A nearby bus stop made exploring the area convenient, and the food options, like the octopus millefeuille, were indeed memorable. However, issues with the shower's water pressure and some dated fixtures detracted from the overall experience.

pleasant stay but needs some improvements
The room was cozy with a sink, allowing for easy use without sharing. I enjoyed the tea/coffee facilities that made for a warm welcome. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, the option to have breakfast delivered to my room was convenient and a lovely touch.
The heating could have been better for a more comfortable experience.
